Boonbuy Tracking Not Updating: Read the Last Meaningful Scan
A parcel number and a shipping status are useful clues, but the last meaningful scan tells you more about which stage needs checking.
Separate order progress from parcel movement
A seller sending an item to the warehouse is different from the warehouse preparing an international parcel. An order reference, a domestic shipment number and an international tracking number can identify different parts of that process.
Check which number you are viewing, the selected service and whether the page identifies another delivery partner. Keep any handoff identifiers linked in your own notes so an update for one stage is not mistaken for a new event on another.
Read the event, location and time together
DHL's current tracking guide distinguishes a scan history from a simple status summary. For its shipment-information-received example, it advises confirming the handoff with the warehouse or fulfillment partner. This is DHL context, not a claim that every agent route uses the same status definitions.
UPS also distinguishes receiving shipment information from taking possession of a parcel, and explains that some long-distance movements have no new scan until the destination hub. Read the actual service's event definitions before interpreting a quiet tracking page as proof of loss.
Prepare an inquiry that can be answered
- Parcel reference and the tracking number associated with the selected shipping service.
- The last event's exact wording, location and timestamp, including any displayed time zone.
- The warehouse dispatch or handoff information available for that parcel.
- Any exception, address query or document request that the official tracking page actually shows.
- One specific question: which handoff or action is still outstanding, and who is responsible for the next update?
Use the current service instructions for the next step
If tracking requests action or shows a delivery exception, follow the official carrier or platform instructions for that event. If the parcel is still awaiting a confirmed handoff, ask the warehouse to clarify the dispatch stage. Do not infer a customs issue solely from a page that has stopped changing.
Keep the inquiry reference and response alongside the event history. Use the current service estimate and its stated inquiry process rather than a fixed number of days copied from another person's route. There is no universal tracking-update interval or guaranteed arrival date established by this checklist.
