Boonbuy Shipping Costs: Compare Quotes for the Same Parcel
A useful shipping comparison starts with the destination, the items being sent and the packed parcel’s weight and dimensions. Keep those inputs consistent when comparing eligible routes.
Boonbuy describes paying for products first, checking them at the warehouse, then choosing and paying for international shipping. Review the current parcel quote at that shipping stage. Official buying overview.
Record what the shipping quote includes
Save the quote currency, date and the parcel details it uses. For each eligible route, record the total payable amount and which services or charges are included.
| Quote detail | What to record |
|---|---|
| Destination | Country and any address information used for the quote |
| Parcel inputs | Packed weight, outer dimensions and item categories |
| Billable weight | Whether actual or dimensional weight determines the charge |
| Included charges | Which transport, handling or selected services the quoted amount covers |
| Quote conditions | Validity, delivery estimate, tracking and stated limits |
Compare the quote in the currency shown by the service. A catalog estimate and the amount charged at payment may use different conversions.

Prepare the information an estimate needs
The official estimator asks for a destination, weight in grams, product type and package dimensions in centimeters. Its first-weight explanation describes a minimum billable weight, with additional weight charged under the route’s rules. Boonbuy freight estimator.
Before comparing options, collect:
- The actual destination country and any address details the route requires.
- The product type and whether the route accepts those goods.
- The packed parcel weight, rather than only the sum of product weights.
- The package’s outer length, width and height.
- The date of the quote and the route’s conditions.
Before the parcel exists, some of these inputs will be estimates. Keep an allowance in the budget and check again when the warehouse has the packed measurements.
Understand why a light parcel can cost more
Physical weight measures how heavy the parcel is. Dimensional, or volumetric, weight represents the space it occupies. A bulky box can therefore cost more than its scale weight suggests.
UPS explains chargeable weight using actual and dimensional weight, and notes that dimensional factors vary by shipping mode or trade lane. This explains the concept; it does not establish the charging rule for every Boonbuy route. UPS weight explanation.
For illustration only, suppose a route used a divisor of 5,000 with dimensions in centimeters. A 40 × 30 × 20 cm box would have a dimensional weight of 4.8 kg. If its scale weight were 3 kg and that route charged the higher value, the starting comparison would be 4.8 kg. Actual rounding, minimums and the divisor must come from the selected route. This example is not a Boonbuy quotation.
Compare routes using the same parcel
A meaningful comparison uses the same destination, product type, packed weight and dimensions. For each eligible route, record the quote, delivery estimate, tracking coverage and any relevant limits.
Check which charges are included before comparing totals. A cheaper headline figure may describe different service terms. If you change the packaging or add an item, request a new comparison using the revised parcel.
Obtain quotes for each complete packing proposal before comparing a combined parcel with separate parcels.

Keep unresolved quote questions visible
If a route is unavailable or an input has not been measured, record that gap before comparing totals. A price from another destination or an earlier parcel should not fill it.
Prepare the parcel details before asking why a route is unavailable. Check any coupon conditions against the current quote before counting a discount.

Does a shipping estimate guarantee an arrival date?
Use the delivery estimate and conditions attached to the route you select. Keep time for steps that have not yet happened, including purchasing, warehouse handling and any further processing.
Can I estimate from a product card alone?
